- Sent to our servers only when actively using the App

- Not linked to any personal identifier
Device Information
We may collect anonymous device information for app functionality and crash reporting:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Anonymous crash logs (if the app crashes)
What We Do NOT Collect

- Precise location history or travel patterns

- Browsing history or data from other apps
2. How We Use Your Information

- Determine your current jurisdiction (city, county, state)

- Send boundary crossing notifications (if enabled)

On Your Device
The App stores locally on your device:

You can clear all local data at any time from the App's Settings.
On Our Servers
Our servers (hosted by Supabase) store:
- Jurisdiction boundaries and rules database
- Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
ZoneWise uses the following third-party services:
Supabase
Our backend infrastructure provider. Processes location queries to return jurisdiction data. Supabase Privacy Policy
Apple (App Store & StoreKit)
Handles subscription payments and app distribution. Payment information is managed entirely by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share anonymous, aggregated data for:
- Analytics and app improvement
- Legal compliance if required by law
6. Your Rights and Choices
Location Permissions
You can control location access through your device's Settings. Denying location access will limit App functionality.
Notifications
You can enable or disable notifications in the App settings or your device's notification settings.
Data Deletion
You can delete all locally stored data by:
- Using the "Clear All Data" option in App Settings
- Deleting the App from your device
Since we don't store personal data on our servers, there is no server-side data to delete.
7. Children's Privacy
ZoneWise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data transmission and storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
